Reggio Emilia is an Italian city in the Emilia-Romagna region with the "most beautiful crèches and kindergartens in the world". But where does this globally recognized pedagogy originate? What does it have to do with women's resistance to Italian fascism and the German occupation in Italy? Answers to these questions are provided by a project that we would like to present at an event. The creators will report on how it came about and we want to start a conversation together: about progressive pedagogy and about the active commitment of women to democratic and integrative values, which has lost none of its importance even after 80 years.
